Step #1: Put a single drop of dish soap on one end of a dish towel, then run it under the sink to get it wet. Scrub the stain with it.
Step #2: Put the opposite end of the dish towel under water, no dish soap this time. Scrub where the stain was to remove the dish soap from the carpet.
Step #3: Grab a dry part of the towel. Scrub the area with this dry part to pull out any water residue.
